Originally from New York City, Brendan worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Co., and later at the Blackstone Group in private equity. Brendan graduated from Princeton University, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa majoring in political science and economics. At Princeton, he was awarded the John G.
Buchanan Prize in Politics, for earning the highest standing in the department of politics. Brendan received his MBA from Stanford University where he was an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow.
Brendan founded Identified in 2010 with Adeyemi Aja and served as CEO and Director for 3 years. Identified was sold to Workday in February 2014 and Brendan currently serves as a Strategic Advisor to Workday. Brendan regularly speaks at conferences on business applications for big data, most recently at SXSW 2013, TieCon 2012 and Data 2.0.
