Daniel Gross is the founder of Pioneer.app. Mr. Gross is the co-founder and CEO of Cue. He is on the board of directors of Cooks Venture. He has also been a partner at Y Combinator. He was previously a director at Apple. He brings a fresh spirit of artificial intelligence to the existing YC team. He first came to Apple after the company acquired Cue, officially called Greplin, for $40 million in 2013 for its predictive search capabilities. After spending the past three years in Cupertino, he was ready to return to his entrepreneurial roots. While at Apple, he was present at the rapid introduction of machine learning into iOS and the Mac OS.
