Dave Goldberg has served as CEO of SurveyMonkey.com, LLC since April 2009. He was a successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, technology and music industry executive. He has led and successfully developed several online consumer companies. In 1994, Mr. Goldberg founded LAUNCH Media Inc. which provided music and music-related content on the Internet, and led the company after its acquisition by Yahoo! in 2001. After selling the company, he served as vice president and general manager of Yahoo! Music, where he led the company's global music operations and turned it into the most popular music site on the Internet. During his tenure, traffic grew from two million to twenty-five million unique users per month, and four billion music videos were viewed in 2006 alone. In 2006 he was named by Billboard magazine as one of the most influential players in digital music. He worked as a resident entrepreneur at Benchmark Capital, where he evaluated the firm's investment opportunities and advised portfolio companies. Previously, Dave was director of marketing strategy and new business development at Capitol Records. Dave also served on the boards of Ancestry.com and Dashbox. He graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a BA in History and Public Administration. He was an angel investor.
