Dave Lerner is the founder of Rugged Ventures. Mr. Dave was an advisor at Source3. He was an advisor at 1000Museums. He was a co-founder of Startup Genome. He is the founder of Venture Studio and also serves as its host. Dave is an entrepreneur, angel investor and director of entrepreneurship at Columbia University. He is also the host of Venture Studio, where he interacts with entrepreneurs, investors, founders and other active members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in New York City and beyond. One of his most recent projects is Startup Genome, where he is partnering with the Kauffman Foundation and Endeavor Global to map all the early-stage investment and entrepreneurial ecosystems in the world. He serves on the board of the New York Tech Meetup, is a board member of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School, and is a board member of the New York Venture Community and the Columbia Venture Community.
