Diego Berdakin is an angel investor. He was the co-founder and president of Lucky Group. Previously, Mr. Berdakin was also an executive at City Storage Systems. Prior to that, he was executive vice president of strategy and products at Slingshot Labs. Slingshot Labs, a division of News Corporation, is a web incubator dedicated to building new Internet companies. In this position, he was responsible for product strategy, corporate strategy, business development, corporate development and marketing. He is a serial entrepreneur specializing in building businesses from the ground up. He takes an innovative approach to many established business ideas, adapting them to changing technology paradigms. Most recently, he co-founded a pioneering online escrow service, iEscrow.com, where he served as president. In parallel, he served as a principal consultant for Bzzing, Inc. an Internet marketing company. He also co-founded MD Capital, an Internet incubator in Los Angeles, where he helped create successful startups. Berdakin holds a bachelor of science degree from Northwestern University in political science with a special interest in social media campaigns. He also works as an advisor at Troy Capital Partners.
