Drew Oetting is a co-founder and board member of Affinity. He is a member of the board of directors of AgVend. He is a founding partner of 8VC. Member of the board of directors of Resilience, Synthego and Street Contxt. Member of the IDX board of directors. He is also on the board of Roam Analytics. He previously served on the boards of Touch Surgery and RealScout. He is a member of the board of directors of BuildZoom. He is also a board member of Affinity Technologies, a hidden enterprise software company. Previously, Drew served as chief of staff to Joe Lonsdale (founding partner of Formation 8 and 8VC). Drew is an advisor to LivingOnOne, a nonprofit social software production studio, and WeAreThorn, a non-governmental organization that uses technology to eliminate child trafficking. He began his career as an analyst in the technology investment banking division of Moelis and Company in Palo Alto, California, where he consulted on M and A issues in the Internet/digital media and network infrastructure industries. While in college, Drew worked in the private equity group at Cascade Investment in Kirkland, Washington and at Asia Pacific Investment Partners, a Hong Kong-based real estate and mining investment firm in Mongolia. Mr. Drew received his B.A. in economics and mathematics with honors from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He has been a Robert Day Fellow, a two-time Bill Gates Investment/Michael Larson Asset Management Fellow, and was a student representative on the Clairemont McKenna College Board of Trustees. He is a member of Rubicon's Advisory Board.
