Eileen Burbidge is a co-founder and partner at Passion Capital. She is a board member of PolyAI, HomeTouch, MindLabs, Fertifa, Tradologics, Daybridge, Fronted, Focal Point Positioning, and Spill App. She has served on the boards of Swipe, Wirewax, DueDil, Monzo, Butternut Box, and Digital Shadows. She serves as an advisor at BondAval and OpenSignal. She has an advanced degree in Computer Science and, having started her career in telecommunications at Verizon Wireless, has held various positions at Apple, Sun Microsystems, Openwave, PalmSource, Skype and Yahoo! She was previously a member of the Prime Minister's Business Advisory Group and is currently HM Treasury's Special Envoy for Fintech, Chair of Tech Nation and Tech Ambassador for the Mayor of London's office. In 2011, she co-founded the Passion Capital fund, where she is a partner and non-executive director/investor in Monzo Bank as well as several other Passion Capital portfolio companies. She has a strong background in technology and is a leader in the development of the increasingly well-known fintech industry in the UK. She brings a constructive, sophisticated and balanced perspective to the Board, focusing on technology innovation, value creation and an informed view of the digital consumer.
