Jerry Neumann is a member of the board of directors of PCB:NG. Mr. Neumann founded Neu Venture Capital. After college, Jerry worked as an engineer at IBM. He developed part of the CP microcode execution engine for the S/390 series of mainframes. After business school, he joined Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group as a management consultant. In 1995 he joined Prodigy Communications, one of the first consumer Internet service providers. He left Prodigy to head Omnicom Group's venture capital arm, Communicade. Communicade invested in many of the first Internet marketing startups. In 2001, Jerry partnered with an outside investor to acquire Communicade. He managed the portfolio for many years until he co-founded Root Markets in 2005. Root Markets created a marketplace that allowed consumers to sell their personal information. In 2008, Jerry founded Neu Venture Capital to invest in early-stage Internet companies. In 2012, Business Insider magazine named him one of the top early-stage investors in New York City. Jerry is a mentor at TechStars NY, Women Innovate Mobile, First Growth Venture Network and SeedStart. He occasionally blogs at Reaction Wheel. Jerry Neumann received his undergraduate degree in 1988 and his master's degree in electrical engineering in 1990 from Columbia University. He received his MBA from New York University in 1993.
