Joey Krug is a co-founder of Eco. He is an advisor and board member of Ox. He is an advisor to Origin Protocol Labs and Urbit. He is co-director of investments at Pantera Capital. He is an advisor to Open Token, Codex and Origin, and Ampleforth. He is a board member of Wyre and Transparent Systems. He was a co-founder of Augur He took a leave of absence from Pomona College to focus entirely on Augur. He ran the first Bitcoin transaction via sound, and the first Bitcoin transaction via iOS-Android Bluetooth LE. As a prelude to Augur, he has completed work with Jack on Sidecoin, which allows new cryptocurrencies to be distributed based on "snapshots" of Bitcoin balances. He is working on the Augur backend, which interacts with Chris's math functions. He is currently making Augur's consensus implementation faster and more accurate. He has a degree in computer science from Pomona College.
