Jonathan Hung is co-founder and COO of Kitchen Data Systems. He is a managing partner at Grudge Ventures. He is a founder and managing partner at J Heart Ventures. He is also a partner at Expert DOJO. In addition to managing JHV, he is president of United Overseas Textile Corporation. He is a member of the board of directors of FlexTal. International Apparel and Textile business, which was founded by his father in 1996. UOTC specializes in the design and manufacture of apparel in partnership with retailers such as Amazon, Burlington and Costco. He holds various degrees from the University of Southern California, the London School of Economics, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A classic "heavy hitter" investor, he shares with KDS his formidable management skills and financial acumen on the international stage. He focuses his laser brain on KDS strategy, operations and scale. Having held positions at Morgan Stanley, UBS and Cummins, he has experience managing offices in the U.S. and China and working with retailers such as Amazon. He is also a managing member of his family investment office, J Heart Ventures, which has invested in startup companies such as Boulevard, ChowNow, Daily Harvest, DocSend, Gyft, LeafLink, Miso Robotics, and Solugen.
