Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of Grouper, which uses P2P technology to allow users to share their personal media in private groups. He previously served as vice president of America Online and CEO of AOL's music brands Spinner, Winamp and Shoutcast. He co-founded Spinner.com, a leading online music resource, and served as president until its purchase by America Online in May 1999. In July 1996, he founded the Internet music startup RadioCo (a division of Organic Online), which eventually merged with DJ.com (renamed Spinner.com). Previously, he was director of business and product development at U.S. West's Multimedia Group; a News Corp. executive and business development manager at News Corp.'s Fox Inc. in Los Angeles. He also co-founded FYI Living and served as chairman of its board of directors.
