Olivier Pomel is co-founder and serves as CEO and board member of Datadog. Before founding Datadog, he built data systems for K-12 teachers and was vice president of technology at Wireless Generation, growing the development team from a few people to nearly 100 top engineers in New York City until the News Corp. acquisition. Before Wireless Generation, he held positions as a software developer at IBM Research and several Internet startups. He is the author of the original VLC media player. Mr. Pomel holds a master's degree in computer science from Ecole Centrale Paris. He is also an advisor at Undefined Labs, Moderne and Bigeye.
