Richard Barton is a co-founder and serves as CEO and board member of the Zillow Group. He is a board member and member of the Audit Committee at Netflix. Since February 2005, Mr. Barton has been a Venture Capital Partner at Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm. Prior to forming our company, Mr. Barton founded Expedia as a group within Microsoft Corporation in 1994, which Microsoft spun off into Expedia, Inc. in 1999, and Mr. Barton served as President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Expedia Board from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Barton has also been co-founder and non-executive chairman of Glassdoor.com, a payroll and company review site, since January 2008 and Trover, a mobile search network, since March 2010, and has served on the boards of several other private companies. Since 2016, Mr. Barton has served on the board of Liberty Interactive Corporation. Mr. Barton holds a B.S. in General Engineering: Industrial Economics from Stanford University. He is also an angel investor. He has served on the board of directors of RealSelf.
