Robin Klein is a co-founder and general partner of Phoenix Court. He has served on the board of directors of Eporta. He is also a member of the board of directors of Streetbees. He was a venture partner at Index Ventures. He is also an advisor at Seedcamp. He has served as an advisor at Kano. He is a board observer at Skimbit. He joined Index Ventures' London office in April 2010. He is currently chairman of Quickbridge (Wonga) and MyBuilder, and serves on the boards of Moo, Clippings, Bill Monitor, EDITD, Farfetch, FreeAgent, LevelBusiness, OneFineStay, Stylistpick and Zoopla. He is a governor of Rhyl Elementary School and is a past chairman of Great Ormond Street Hospital Funding Company. He has 25 years of experience, including 20 years as an entrepreneur, 14 years of investment experience and has served on the boards of three publicly traded companies. In his most recent operational role as chairman and CEO of Innovations, he led the very first e-commerce transaction in the UK in May 1995. Since beginning his investment career in 1998, when he and his son Sol founded The Accelerator Group (TAG), they have made more than sixty investments. Among the ten companies that have exited TAG are Agent Provocateur (3i), where he was chairman for five years, Sit Up TV (Virgin Media), a board member for four years, Lastminute (IPO), Last.FM (CBS), Dopplr (Nokia), Lovefilm (Amazon), Fizzback (Nice Systems) and Tweetdeck (Twitter). He is passionate about helping build Europe's tech startup ecosystem and actively supports Saul in promoting Seedcamp and OpenCoffee.
