Ron Suber is a member of the board of directors of YieldStreet. Mr. Suber has served as president of Prosper Marketplace. He is an advisory board member of MoneyLion. He has served on the advisory board of Unison (consumer finance). He has also been an advisor to Even Financial and Juvo. He is an angel investor. Previously, he served as Head of Global Institutional Sales at Prosper Marketplace, Inc. and Vice President and Director of Prosper Funding LLC. As Head of Global Institutional Sales, he was responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to attract institutional and retail investors to the Prosper platform. He has more than 20 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the hedge fund, broker-dealer and registered investment adviser industry. Prior to joining Prosper, he was a managing director at Wells Fargo Securities. Prior to Wells Fargo, he was head of global sales and marketing and a senior partner at Merlin Securities. He was also president of Spectrum Global Fund Administration and spent 14 years at Bear Stearns, where he was senior managing director and global clearing sales manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He works as an advisor at Nabis.
