Sherry Coutu is the founder of Founders4Schools and is also its executive chairman and chief executive officer. She is a member of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Compensation Committee, and a member of Pearson's Nominating and Governance Committee. She is the founder of Silicon Valley Comes to the UK. She was also a board member of the London Stock Exchange Group. She was appointed to the Board in January 2014. She is a non-executive director of Cambridge Temperature Concepts, Cambridge Assessment, Cambridge University Press, Raspberry Pi and Artfinder. Sherry also serves on the advisory boards of Linkedin.com, Care.com, is an external non-executive director of Cambridge University and a member of the finance committee. She was previously an investor and director of New Energy Finance from 2006 to 2009 and a director of Jarvis Plc from 2001 to 2003. She was a non-executive director and senior independent director of RM Plc from 1998 to 2007, where she was also Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. From 2006 to 2010 Sherry was a trustee of the NESTA National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts. Sherry founded Interactive Investor International Plc in 1995 and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board from 1995 to 2001. She was also Managing Director of ISI Emerging Markets in the UK from 1994 to 1995. She was a member of the board of directors of ZPG. She is also a board member of the Raspberry Pi Foundation (other hardware).
