Travis Kalanick co-founded and serves as Chief Executive Officer of CloudKitchens. Mr. Kalanick serves as Chief Executive Officer at Knowlarity. He is the co-founder and CEO and a member of the board of directors of Uber. He also serves on the board of StyleSeat. He was a board member at Kareo. Prior to joining Uber, he was head of P2P initiatives at Akamai Technologies. He has a successful track record in consumer internet, transportation and corporate content delivery. Prior to founding Uber, he was the founder of Red Swoosh, a corporate content delivery company that was sold to Akamai Technologies in 2007. He was also the founder of Scour.net, the world's first P2P file-sharing search engine, and is an active angel investor. Mr. Kalanick holds degrees in computer engineering and business economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
